On Tuesday, Facebook Inc said it is testing a new feature on its app that will allow content creators in India to share Reels to their Facebook accounts.

Users who create the 30-second long reels on Instagram can have their videos appear on the Facebook news feed as well.

The company said in a statement that When an Instagram user with a public account shares a Reel, they’ll see an option to have it recommended to people on Facebook. It will expand the reach of their content on both Facebook and Instagram.

After the ban of TikTok in India, Instagram launched reels feature in India. This feature lets users create fun videos to share with friends or anyone on Instagram.

All that they need to record and edit short multi-clip videos with audio, effects, and new creative tools. People with a private account can create and share reels with their followers which then appears on Instagram feed. People with a public account can make their videos available to a wider audience and the entire Instagram community.
